On September 25, 2008 the Flagship Detroit and crew were invited to participate in a reunion for the Women Airforce Service Pilots and a return to their training base at Sweetwater, Texas (KSWW.) 38 of the original 1,074 pilots came together for this reunion. The airlift included more than 30 airplanes including Flagship Detroit, Pacific Prowler B-25, 5 North American T-6s and many more contemporary aircraft.  The photos below are just a few examples of the memories we were fortunate enough to share with these remarkable women pilots.
